Birthstones: It is thought that the concept of birthstones originates from biblical times when 12 precious stones were assigned to the apostles and 12 gems adorned the breastplate of high priest Aaron (brother of Moses: Exodus 28) to represent the 12 tribes of Israel.

There have been many different interpretations in various cultures over the years leading to the modern day associations recognised today. Birthstone Colours and their meanings:

Sizes available:  For girls we have sets made according to ages. This is a very accurate way of sizing the jewellery but, if preferred, we are also happy to make to measure.

For women we have size small (16 inch necklace with 18cms bracelet, plus extender), size medium (18 inch necklace with 20cms bracelet, plus extender) and size large (20 inch necklace with 22cms bracelet, plus extender).
